Chapter 12: Pride

8:00a. Madison Campground. The Morning After The Storm

So the storm last night was a much bigger deal than I thought. The Musial family made it through OK: our main tent had no issues and the teenagers' tent had just a little bit of water leakage.

Many of the other campers around us, though, had it far worse. Nearly every campsite is hanging up wet sleeping bags and/or collecting equipment that has been blown to another part of the campground.

However, I did find one spot on the premises that is perfectly dry and was unaffected by the storm:
